  • Board Certified Psychiatrist

    Dr. Jenice Kim is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency training at University of Southern California. She served as Chief Resident of inpatient psychiatry. She was awarded Outstanding Resident from her program and Excellence in Psychiatric Education Award by Southern California Psychiatric Association for her distinguished residency performance and remarkable contribution in areas of patient care, education, and leadership. In addition to her interest in inpatient psychiatry and in treating severe mental illness, she also has interests in women’s mental health, geriatric medicine, and therapy. Given her diverse background, having lived in Korea (fluent in Korean) and Canada, she’s also interested in the cultural context of mental disorders. In her practice, she treats a wide range of disorders, including mood and anxiety disorders, as well as psychotic disorders.

  • Concierge Internal Physician

    Dr. Kristin Karlyn is a dinguished internal medicine physician with extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical administration. She completed her undergraduate education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1992. She then pursued her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, graduating in 1996.

    Dr. Karlyn completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA, from 1996 to 1999, where she served as Chief Medical Resident from 1999 to 2000. She holds certifications as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and as a Medical Review Officer.

    Proficient in both English and Medical Spanish, Dr. Karlyn has been actively involved with Huntington Health Physicians, contributing to the Electronic Health Record Committee and the Quality Assurance Committee from 2016 to 2019. She served as a Consultant in Occupational Medicine for the Caltech Institutional Biosafety Committee from 2017 to 2018 and as Medical Director of Pasadena Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine from 2015 to 2018.

  • Dr. April Soto was born and raised in Guatemala to Puerto Rican Missionaries. She came to the US to attend university and medical school at University of California San Francisco. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles, Ca, a 1-year Fellowship in HIV Medicine at Los Angeles County-University of California, 2-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine through Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine in San Diego, Ca. She worked at Kaiser Permanent for 13.5 years in Family Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine Surgical Services and served as the Wellness Champion for the Family Medicine Residents. Dr Soto is also trained in psychedelic services and offers Ketamine, Breathwork and Biofield Medicine/Energy Healing services for patients with mental health concerns. She enjoys complementing western medicine along with addressing the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional needs of her patients as well. She meditates daily and enjoys time in nature. Boogie boarding alongside the surfers brings her great joy! She lives in Los Angeles, Ca with her beloved husband Chris.

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Susan Chi is a licensed clinical psychologist, trauma recovery expert, and cognitive science researcher who specializes in providing trauma recovery for individuals, couples, & families, cognitive assessment & ADHD coaching, and working with cultural/racial minorities and creatives.

    Her research has focused on the areas of cognitive functioning and memory among older adults. She has worked with culturally and ethnically diverse patients and research participants across medical and community settings, including NYU Langone Health, NYU Winthrop Hospital, Einstein Medical School, Brooklyn College Student Counseling Ctr., and Queens Community Personal Counseling Ctr. Dr. Chi mentors undergraduates at UCLA and was most recently affiliated with UCSF as Director of Metacognitive Content Development and Research for a web and app-based mental health intervention platform for teens and young adults.

  • Cognitive Scientist & Coach

    Dr. Fadardi is a research full professor at the School of Community and Global Health at Claremont Graduate University. His research focuses on two interrelated areas of motivational and cognitive processes: underlying health-related decisions, and behaviors that signify problems with habitual control, and he has published on the delivery of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) for the treatment of migraines, ADHD, memory difficulties, and depression. He received his PhD in Clinical-Health Psychology from Bangor University (UK), prior to completing two post-doctoral fellowships to conduct research on systematic motivational restructuring and attentional bias retraining among alcohol users. Dr. Fadhardi carries 15 years of experience providing senior supervisory therapy and counseling services, both in university settings and in his own private clinical psychology practice in Iran, treating a wide range of general and complex mental health disorders, including dual-diagnosis alcohol and drug abuse cases. He currently provides short-term consultations to a wide range of immigrant and multicultural psychologists, therapists, and counselors globally and locally, and delivers motivational enhancement assessments and interventions for individuals, couples, and institutions through the use of evidence-based tools and techniques. Dr. Fadhardi provides services in English, Persian, Dari, and conversationally in Arabic.

  • Marriage & Family Therapist

    Naj Alikhan is a licensed psychotherapist who has been helping people make meaningful changes for over a decade. He identifies as a male, Asian, POC therapist who is dedicated to helping his community. He has experience helping people of all races, sexual and gender identities, and specializes in therapy for Asians, South Asians and gay males. His experience includes lecturing and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level on psychological theory, addiction, resilience, stress management, and substance use safety. In his words, "sharing what I’ve learned with other people brings me immense joy and it is one of the few places I feel truly in my element." Naj Alikhan worked at UCSB and Caltech University, and has worked in and been on the boards of non-profit organizations for over 10 years. Through these experiences he has developed a passion for challenging existing business models and fragile revenue streams.
